Bradley Bemis, LPC

Psychotherapist
CO
Hi, I’m Bradley. I’m a trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a background in both mental health and addiction counseling. Before becoming a therapist, I served in the U.S. Air Force and spent many years in cybersecurity — a journey that taught me both discipline and the deep importance of healing. I help adults who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, trauma, or addiction — especially when these challenges overlap and feel overwhelming. My work is grounded in compassion and self-acceptance, drawing from evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and ACT alongside somatic and contemplative practices. Together, we’ll calm the nervous system, untangle stuck patterns, and build the skills needed for resilience and growth. In sessions, you’ll experience a balance of gentle support and thoughtful challenge. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and paced around your goals — but it should also help you grow beyond old coping strategies. My role is to guide you in exploring your patterns, building tools that work, and creating a deeper connection to yourself and your life. I became a therapist because I understand what it’s like to struggle and search for meaning. I believe that within even the hardest experiences lies an opportunity to discover strength, compassion, and wisdom. Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking in the Colorado mountains, mindfulness practice, and time with my cats — the same curiosity and presence I bring into my work with clients. If you’re seeking change — or simply a safe place to begin healing — you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll take the next steps toward a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and whole.
