Brady Daniel, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
There was a season in my life when I felt stuck, unable to move forward because I couldn’t get out of my own way. I turned to sports until I was injured, to academics until achievement wasn’t enough, and to the church until I was deeply hurt by the very place that once shaped me. Through that journey, I began to understand how closely the mind, body, relationships, and beliefs are connected. Healing didn’t come from working harder—it came from thinking differently, processing pain honestly, and rebuilding trust step by step. Today, I bring that same integrative perspective into my work with couples. I am passionate about the intersection of psychology and faith and about helping partners rediscover connection, safety, and respect. I believe transformation begins when couples examine what they believe about themselves, each other, and their relationship, and whether those beliefs are helping or harming their marriage. With 19 years of counseling experience in both church settings and private practice, I specialize in marriage counseling and relational healing. I work with couples navigating communication breakdown, recurring conflict, infidelity, anger, emotional distance, and the lingering impact of church hurt on their relationship. My approach integrates mind-body awareness with practical relational tools, helping couples move from reactivity to understanding. I spent nine years serving in a megachurch and the past ten years in private practice, supporting individuals and couples through some of their most vulnerable seasons. My goal is to help partners rebuild trust, strengthen emotional connection, and create a marriage marked by honesty, resilience, and renewed hope.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me, you can expect a direct, compassionate, and structured approach. I create a space where both partners feel heard and respected, while also helping you move beyond simply “venting” toward meaningful change. Therapy with me is active and intentional—we identify patterns, explore underlying beliefs and emotional triggers, and develop practical tools to improve communication and connection. I integrate mind-body awareness with evidence-based relational strategies, helping couples understand how stress, past wounds, family dynamics, and even faith experiences impact their marriage. I will gently challenge unhelpful patterns while supporting you in building healthier ways of responding to one another. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. Whether you’re navigating conflict, recovering from betrayal, feeling emotionally distant, or simply wanting to strengthen your relationship, we will work together to create clarity, restore trust, and move toward a more secure and resilient partnership. My goal is not just symptom relief, but lasting transformation in how you relate, communicate, and grow together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We begin by identifying the pain points that keep you stuck. Most couples aren’t struggling because they don’t care, they’re stuck because unresolved hurt, unmet needs, past betrayals, or repeated misunderstandings have created protective patterns. Before a relationship can truly grow, we have to address the pain that’s shaping it. In our early sessions, we slow things down and uncover the emotional injuries underneath the conflict. We explore how past experiences, stress, family history, and even faith wounds may be influencing the way you respond to one another. I help each partner feel heard while also identifying the interaction cycles that reinforce disconnection. Once the core pain is acknowledged and processed, we begin creating room for enrichment. This includes rebuilding trust, strengthening emotional safety, improving communication, and intentionally cultivating connection. We don’t just work on reducing conflict—we work on increasing intimacy, teamwork, and mutual understanding. My approach is structured, direct, and compassionate. I will help you face the hard things, but always with the goal of creating space for growth, renewal, and a stronger, more resilient marriage.
