What should a new client know about working with you?

I look to provide effective and directed therapy with my clients. Furthermore, I look to provide a space where clients can find healthy balance and wellbeing within their lives.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sessions will usually begin with an initial check in on what is happening that current week with the client. After processing through any initial issues that have come up the session will shift focus towards the major issues that have been identified by the client. Sessions are always guided by the clients wants and needs. I have several certifications that I utilize within my work with my clients. Certificate in Integrated Behavioral Health and Primary Care University of Michigan School of Social Work, Anne Arbor, MI Trauma Recovery and Empowerment (TREM and M-TREM) Certified therapist Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team Coordinator - County contact and facilitator for debriefings (group and individual) Question. Persuade, Refer (QPR) Gatekeeper Trainer - Provide suicide awareness and prevention training to schools, employers, and community groups Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) Facilitator - Provide standardized 2-day training to create suicide safer communities - Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Summit, Sponsored by Michigan Association of community mental health boards. Trained in CAFAS and LOCUS
