Psychotherapist

As a therapist, I believe healing begins with feeling safe, seen, and genuinely heard. I provide a warm, holistic, trauma-informed approach that helps clients understand the “why” behind their emotions, behaviors, and relationship patterns while developing healthier ways to move forward. My therapeutic style balances compassion with gentle challenge, creating space for self-discovery, resilience, and meaningful change. I meet clients where they are and walk alongside them as they move from simply surviving toward healing, growth, and a more authentic sense of self.

As a therapist, I believe healing begins with feeling safe, seen, and genuinely heard. What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me means you do not have to walk into therapy with everything figured out. You do not need the perfect words, a clear goal, or even an understanding of why you feel the way you do. You can simply come as you are, and we will begin there. My therapeutic style is warm, authentic, compassionate, and gently challenging. I want therapy to feel like a safe place where you can exhale, take off the mask, and talk about the things you may not feel comfortable discussing anywhere else. At the same time, I believe therapy is a space for growth. When appropriate, I will encourage you to look beneath the surface and explore the “why” behind your emotions, behaviors, relationships, and patterns. I take a holistic, trauma-informed, and individualized approach because no two people experience life in exactly the same way. I draw from approaches such as CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Family Systems, mindfulness, experiential techniques, and EMDR-informed care. Rather than trying to fit you into one therapeutic model, we will identify what works best for you. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism and neurodivergence, grief, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, family concerns, and major life transitions. I especially value creating an environment where people who have felt misunderstood, overwhelmed, or responsible for holding everything together can finally have space to focus on themselves. You can expect our work to be collaborative. I may have clinical knowledge and tools, but you are the expert on your own experiences. Together, we will explore what has happened, understand how it may be affecting you today, identify your strengths, and develop practical tools that support the life you want to create. You don't have to know where to begin. Come as you are. We'll figure out the next steps together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe therapy should move at a pace that feels safe and meaningful for you. We begin by getting to know one another and understanding what brought you to therapy, what feels difficult right now, and what you would like to see change. You don’t have to arrive knowing exactly what your goals are—we can discover them together. From there, we explore the experiences, emotions, relationships, and patterns that may be contributing to where you feel stuck. Together, we develop an individualized plan using approaches such as CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, Family Systems, experiential techniques, and EMDR-informed care. As therapy progresses, we will regularly check in on what is working, what feels different, and what may need to change. I may offer coping tools, reflection exercises, or gentle challenges between sessions, but our work will always remain collaborative. Ultimately, my goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply, strengthen your ability to navigate difficult emotions, and create meaningful changes that extend beyond the therapy room. We start where you are, understand the “why,” and work together toward where you want to be.
