As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) the goal is to develop a collaborative partnership where you and your experiences can be better understood. Using a warm yet direct approach to counseling. The strive is for you to have a non-judgmental environment where presenting issues can be explored and processed. The aim is to help you create insight, identify strengths, and to develop effective practical skills to overcome the challenges which you face. Some of the specializations include: career counseling which includes executive and business coaching, career transitions/promotions, stress and time management skills, and interpersonal workplace issues. Other areas where there is significant treatment experience include: addressing relationship issues, communication problems, anger management, conflict resolution, anxiety/panic, and mood disorders such as depression and bipolar. Evidenced based counseling interventions which are used include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Reality Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Unified Protocol, and Positive Psychology.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you request your appointment, you will be sent an invite link for Brightside Health. You will need to enter your insurance and payment information to confirm your appointment.During your initial consultation we will craft a treatment plan personalized to your needs, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. You will also be able message me directly at anytime via the messaging section of your Brightside Health portal - a tool where will also track your progress, access resources, and see your treatment plan details.*Please note: If you are looking for ADHD care, I do not prescribe controlled medications like Adderall or Ritalin. However, we can support you with therapy and other medications commonly used in ADHD treatment, such as Strattera and Intuniv.*
