Your search for a therapist is an important first step in addressing your concerns and offers you an opportunity to tune in to your own needs and goals. For therapy to be successful, you must feel understood and comfortable with the person who guides you through this process. For the last twelve years, I’ve helped people work through complicated feelings, change unhealthy behavior patterns, manage life transitions, and make lasting progress toward their individual goals. As a professional counselor who holds a doctorate in health sciences with a special focus on researching resilience and its implications on mental health and change, I can help you. Let’s schedule a consultation to get started. I earned a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2014. I went on to earn my Doctorate in Health Sciences from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, in 2019. At that time, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-18263). I now have expertise in treating depression, codependency, substance use, low self-esteem, highly sensitive people, relationship counseling, grief and loss counseling, healthy boundaries and relationships, self-acceptance, mental performance enhancement, mental toughness, developing resilience, and LGBTQ affirmation. When I’m not helping clients, I love music, especially playing guitar, outdoors, and health and fitness. Because I have an intimate understanding of how mental health can affect change, I use the therapeutic techniques I learned from years of counseling in my own life. My approach Cognitive Behavioral Therapy/Integrative. My focus I typically work with adults facing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, stress-related issues, and relationship challenges. I am most comfortable treating individuals who are looking to manage their symptoms, improve their coping strategies, and enhance their overall emotional well-being.
