Brandon Dillon, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Brandon! My name is Brandon Dillon. I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2006, and I earned my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. I first started seeing clients as a pre-licensed therapist in 2001. I have a client-centered approach. My approach My most common theoretical approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). As our work progresses, I may also use a Psychodynamic approach to explore unhealthy patterns and unconscious motivation. My focus I work mainly with adults and have experience helping clients with a wide range of conditions. The ones I am most comfortable with are depression, anxiety, and anger management. I also work with couples. My communication style I strive to create a warm, trusting environment where clients feel heard and comfortable sharing. My journey to mental healthcare I wanted to be a therapist from a relatively young age. I really admire people who are willing to get help; it is not easy. I find helping people make positive changes in their lives rewarding. My goals for you What we work on is up to the client. As part of treatment, we will work on clarifying what that is. I will help clients recognize things that can move them toward their goals and things that could block them from what they want to achieve. My first session with you You should expect a lot of questions to complete the initial intake and to get to know you better.
