Getting to know Brandon Woffinden

I was born in Lehi, Utah, and graduated from Lehi High School. I then attended Weber State University and obtained a bachelor's degree in Technical Sales. After working in the sales and service industry for several years, I went to work for the State of Utah Department of Corrections. After 10 years as an officer, I attended the University of Phoenix to obtain a master's degree in Counseling. In September of 2012, I created Opportunity Center LLC, serving clients in need of court-ordered treatment. This has since expanded to domestic violence treatment, private insurance clients, EAP, and First Responder support. Since COVID, I have switched to online therapy and have really enjoyed the benefits and convenience it provides. During my career, I have worked with many clients struggling with different challenges, but the most common have been substance abuse, depression, anxiety, anger, hopelessness, and relationship issues. I believe that every person deserves to be happy, and through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered therapy approaches, I help my clients learn and find ways to work toward and achieve self-love, personal happiness, and inner peace. I think through patience, hard work, and dedication, each person is capable of change, and I am very passionate about helping others through the process. In my free time, I like to hang out with my family, travel, camp, and read. I very much look forward to working with you.
