Do you notice that you're feeling stressed, sad, or just not like yourself anymore? Maybe you are struggling with changes in your life—parenthood, the end of a relationship, a new job, or grieving a loss. Or you may just want someone to talk to. If you have been pushing down your feelings and now feel like you need to address them, you've already taken the first step! The next part involves letting those thoughts and feelings come out, working through them, and learning new coping skills to help you handle the big feelings. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University and have worked in a wide range of settings, including care management, outpatient mental health, school-based services, preventative services, and community-based mental health. The populations I’ve served include children, adolescents, and adults. Private practice has always been my passion and goal, and I have been doing this full-time since 2019.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a therapist, I strive to challenge my clients to become vulnerable and a better version of themselves by offering support, empathy and a new perspective. My goal is to have a client leave the session with new tools, a new outlook, and/or a new thought to ponder. A good therapy experience does involve some work, but the benefits can be life changing! Being in therapy, whether it is as an individual, a couple, or a family, will provide you with the skills you need to cope in a healthy way, teach you how to take care of yourself and to listen to your needs, and allow you to process your emotions in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon!
