“Brandy is great, she listens and she does research to find different ways of helping her clients/patients. I am so comfortable talking to Brandy about anything and that is a big deal for me. I have trust issues and that hasn't been a problem with her. She has helped me in so many ways, from looking at my problems from different point of views to providing solutions or concepts that I hadn't heard of before. I am very grateful for Brandy.”

Getting to know Brandy Head

Hey there, I'm Brandy. Are you feeling overwhelmed and like life is a bit out of control? Do you miss the joy and contentment that used to fill your days? I'd like to help you work through the struggles you're facing and offer you a safe place to explore your thoughts and feelings-a place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. You've already taken the first and most important step by reaching out for help. I have been described as supportive, caring, compassionate, laid back, and with a pretty good sense of humor. I focus on identifying your strengths and helping you maximize them to overcome obstacles. With a Master's in Social Work from the University of Texas, San Antonio, and my background in healthcare working with individuals and families, I approach clients from a holistic perspective. I incorporate physical health alongside emotional well-being. I also share valuable techniques on how to be present, recognize the important things in your world, and make the most of the resources available to you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am very open and accepting. I combine my education, skills, and personal experiences to demonstrate the principles of therapy. I am also very attentive and offer supportive validation frequently. I do not believe that individuals should be in therapy long term. Therapy is like maintenance and upkeep for your thoughts and feelings. You go in when you need to, do what is necessary, and get back out there.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
