What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy should feel safe, compassionate, and supportive. My approach is trauma-informed and rooted in meeting each person where they are, without judgment or pressure. With my background in both nursing and clinical social work, I understand how emotional wellness, life experiences, family systems, and physical health can all be connected. I work with children, adults, and families to help them feel heard, supported, and empowered as they move through challenges, transitions, crisis, trauma, anxiety, and emotional stress. My goal is to create a nurturing space where you can slow down, feel seen, build healthy coping skills, and move toward healing at a pace that feels right for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical process begins with creating a safe and supportive space for you to share what brings you to therapy. In our first session, I take time to learn about your current concerns, history, strengths, support system, and goals so we can create a plan that fits your needs. In ongoing sessions, we may focus on processing emotions, building coping skills, strengthening communication, navigating family concerns, managing anxiety or stress, and developing practical tools for daily life. Depending on your needs, therapy may include talk therapy, crisis support, psychoeducation, family support, and connection to helpful resources. I believe healing is a process, and you do not have to move through it alone. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, honesty, and support as you work toward growth, stability, and hope.
