Getting to know Brenda Greer-Jennings

Hello, I wanted to introduce myself. My first role was working in schools with adolescents as a School Psychologist for many years. I then pursued additional studies, earning a Master’s in Counseling from Louisiana State University, Shreveport, and became a Licensed Counselor in the community. My experience includes working in two hospitals, behavioral units, and schools. After moving to Texas, I obtained their Counselor license. A few years ago, I became credentialed to supervise counselors and worked as a counselor supervisor and trainer at the college level. When that ended, I began working for a health clinic in the Behavioral Health Unit for over three years. This is where I started providing telehealth counseling during the pandemic, which I find both interesting and especially helpful for rural communities. I work with teens and women’s issues using CBT, Person-Centered, and Gestalt techniques. My motto is, “We can all learn new ways to improve ourselves.”
