Welcome! My name is Bria Smith, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Michigan. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Oakland University and went on to receive my Master's in Social Work from Wayne State University. During my Master's program, my clinical focus was on Psychodynamic Theory and Family Systems Theory. Most of my work history has been in community mental health, where I had the privilege of being exposed to many different types of mental health concerns and diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and bipolar disorders. I believe I understand the complexity of the human experience and am fully aware that there is no ?one size fits all? treatment approach for everyone. This is why I prioritize meeting individuals where they are and figuring out what will work best to serve them at that time! I am eager to collaborate with individuals and help them see realistic and sustainable change in their lives.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
