Brian Parker, LPCC

Psychotherapist
565 Brunswick Rd, Ste 9, Grass Valley, CA
You are on a path toward healing. I would love to partner with you and bring my training and experience to support your healing and growth. My work as a counselor began 10 years ago in Colorado after earning my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. I worked for a transitional housing program to help clients overcome addiction and other barriers to stable housing. I also worked in a jail as part of a rehabilitation program to reduce recidivism and at a community mental health center with clients transitioning out of hospitalization or incarceration. Additionally, I supported adolescents in a community-based program addressing addiction and other systemic barriers to well-being. After moving to California, I worked for a family resource center providing trauma counseling to children, adolescents, and families. I have worked with individuals and couples, led process groups, and taught parenting classes. Now, I have a private practice and am engaged in the wonderful healing community of Nevada County.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
