Brian Richardson, MA, LPC Who Am I? I am Brian Richardson, and I am passionate about helping people overcome the hurdles and obstacles in their life. I believe people can uncover the way forward to their best life, but sometimes need some help on the way. I am well-trained as I hold a National Certified Peer Specialist Certification, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling, and am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am also a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Who Do I work with? I am passionate about helping adolescents, adults, and elderly in individual, family, and couples counseling with a focus on Depressive and Bi-polar Disorders. How Can You Help Me? My approaches to counseling include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation, Psycho-Education, and Dual Diagnosis counseling. I use a Rogerian (focus is on you and your experiences) approach towards attaining stable mental health and wellness. I believe an eclectic set of skills are best used to achieve and maintain a high quality of life. These approaches and skills come together in a powerful way: I stay focused on you, your goals, and your path forward. My use of a variety of skills and my training and experience lets me find the most effective tools to help you find the freedom to be the person you want to be.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
