Getting to know Briana Dellamura

Sometimes the hardest part of change isn’t knowing what’s wrong—it’s knowing where to start. That’s where therapy can help. Hi, I’m Briana, a licensed mental health therapist and the founder of All Kinds Counseling INC. I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, life stress, relationship challenges, and the complicated process of personal growth. Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences with curiosity rather than judgment, and begin building a path toward the kind of life you want to live. I don’t believe therapy should feel clinical or one-size-fits-all. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, but more importantly, I focus on creating a space where you can show up as you are. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, challenge patterns that may be holding you back, and build tools that support your goals. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to figure everything out before you walk in the door. We’ll take it one step at a time, together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. My role isn’t to sit back and silently analyze you—it’s to work alongside you to better understand what’s going on in your life and help you find solutions that actually fit who you are. I believe meaningful change happens when we’re willing to get curious about ourselves and gently challenge the patterns, beliefs, or habits that may be keeping us stuck. That process doesn’t have to feel harsh or overwhelming, though. We move at a pace that feels safe and manageable, while still keeping growth in focus. One thing that matters deeply to me is creating a space where you don’t have to filter yourself. Therapy should be a place where you can speak openly about your thoughts, experiences, and emotions without fear of judgment. My goal is for you to feel supported, respected, and understood while we work together to build insight, resilience, and practical tools for change. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy—just a willingness to explore and take the next step forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so the first thing I focus on is helping you feel comfortable. In our early sessions, I take time to learn about you—your experiences, your goals, and what’s been weighing on you—while we build rapport and create a space where you can speak openly without fear of judgment. Many clients report they leave even the first session feeling lighter, more understood, and already on the path toward healing and growth. My goal is for therapy to feel supportive and collaborative from the very beginning. Once we have a clearer understanding of what’s bringing you in, we begin identifying practical ways to move forward. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, which help us examine patterns in thoughts and behaviors and focus on realistic, actionable solutions. Depending on your needs, I may also incorporate tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches to help build coping skills, emotional regulation, and resilience. Therapy with me is active and collaborative—we’ll explore what’s been keeping you stuck while also focusing on strategies that help you move toward the life you want.

I have never been to therapy before. I kept getting told by my wife that I should 'just try it' and I am glad that I did. Briana is very respectful and took her time to understand my issue. I actually couldn't wait to tell my wife that she was right about therapy.
