I love working with adults, couples, and first-time therapy clients. My specialty areas include: Dating, Relationships & Relational Patterns, Men's Issues, ADHD (Suspected & Diagnosed), Familial Conflict, Trauma, Inner-Child Work, Anxiety & Overwhelm, Depression & Mood Disorders, Self-Esteem & Identity, Body Image, Eating Disorders, Life Transitions, and Aging. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support my clients effectively through their unique challenges.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Brianna's approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and relational — centered on your relationship with yourself, with others, and with the world around you. Drawing on a psychodynamic foundation, she works with emotionally focused therapy (EFT) and parts work to help clients understand old patterns and move through life with greater clarity and connection. Brianna has also completed Level 1 Training in the Gottman Method.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Some of the most significant challenges we face in life come down to our current and past relationships: with others, with our communities, and – importantly – with ourselves. I believe that the most healing aspect of therapy is the positive, safe relationship that forms between counselor and client. Our relationship will mirror the dynamics you experience in other relationships, acting as a training ground where you can safely explore patterns of connection, communication, and emotional expression. This will serve as a foundation for greater self-acceptance and connection in other areas of life.
