What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, integrating a psychodynamic foundation with additional evidence-based interventions as needed, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), internal family systems (IFS), and am Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 trained.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Some of the most significant challenges we face in life come down to our current and past relationships: with others, with our communities, and – importantly – with ourselves. I believe that the most healing aspect of therapy is the positive, safe relationship that forms between counselor and client. Our relationship will mirror the dynamics you experience in other relationships, acting as a training ground where you can safely explore patterns of connection, communication, and emotional expression. This will serve as a foundation for greater self-acceptance and connection in other areas of life.
