What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer therapy to individuals and couples who are impacted by anxiety, panic attacks, depression, self-esteem issues, task management problems, relationship problems, and trauma. The space I provide in therapy is open and accepting so that you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences and exploring your problems without judgment. There is absolutely nothing off the table. We will create goals to help achieve what you are looking to accomplish, and will work collaboratively along the way. I want to help you uncover what might be getting in the way of meaningful and authentic living, and I am looking forward to assisting you in the process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I tend to take an eclectic approach with my clients, adapting my involvement with each individual and couple to best fit their needs. A typical session may involve me prompting you to explore current and past events that may be related your problems or concerns. I will ask questions to help dig deeper in building awareness around your emotional experiences, thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors associated with important aspects of your life circumstances. We may discuss coping and calming skills, habits, communication skills, core beliefs, problem-solving techniques, and whatever else may come up through our work together. We will aim to explore root causes of your problems to help resolve and heal them effectively.
