I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been working in the field since 2007. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University, Brookville. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, focusing on helping clients identify negative or unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors, and developing strategies and coping skills to make positive changes in their lives. I work with adults, children, and families to address concerns such as depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, life transitions, PTSD, eating disorders, and mood disorders. *** Currently not taking Medicaid or Medicare Plans ***

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is to be client focused and strength based. I allow the client to control the focus and flow in each session and assist the client with identifying triggers, develop healthy coping skills and strategies and review and barriers to progress. I encourage client to set small attainable goals each week to stay motivated and feel accomplished.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I hope that my clients feel supported and heard during their sessions and are able to learn new things about themselves and feel more confident, assertive and their abilities to see progress and awareness in their lives. I will assist with processing concerns, allowing the client to control the flow of each session and set goals that are important to them. We will review progress and concerns each session and celebrate the small victories.

Brianne has been my therapist for a little over 3 years now and she’s awesome! She has really helped me to grow so much over the past few years. She is great at what she does and she really creates a comfortable, comforting, validating and non judgmental environment to share in. Also as someone in the LGBTQ community it was nice to find a therapist that is so down to earth and accepting ??
Brianne is an empowering and solution-oriented therapist. She is kind, has a great sense of humor, and clearly wants the best for her clients.
Brianne is the best. Her demeanor is tender yet anchored. She really helps me arrive to new hopeful places. I couldn't recommend her enough.
Brianne has been so helpful to myself and my family. We had a lot of sadness and other issues that my family and I have been dealing with due to the death of some family members and chronic illness etc which had caused a lot of struggling in my family and Brianne is always a ray of positivity and sunshine. I would highly recommend her! She has helped myself and my teenage children to deal with multiple complex issues and helped us to meet our goals. We have become a much more cohesive and close family unit. I appreciate all of Brianne’s help, it was a lifesaver!
Brianne is amazing. She is affirming, kind, compassionate while being no-nonsense and factual. She allows me to explore my thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental way. I’ve been going through a divorce and Brianne has been such a wonderful sounding board and confidant through the whole process, encouraging me to “see the light” at the end of an uncertain tunnel. I’m grateful for her professionalism, expertise and support. Highly recommend!
Brianne is the best therapist i’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. She is the best listener, she’s always engaging me and challenging me all while giving me her full support. I feel like with her help i’ve become the best version of me and i couldn’t be more grateful.
