Bridget (she/her/hers) completed her MEd in Community Counseling in 2009 from Kent State University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a supervision designation in the state of Ohio and a Board Certified Telemental Health provider (BC-TMH). Her areas of expertise include the treatment of depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, postpartum concerns, trauma, spiritual concerns, and working with highly sensitive people.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Bridget is an eclectic therapist who believes in a strength based and client-centered approach to counseling. She is experienced in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, positive psychology, and person-centered therapy. Bridget has worked in a variety of settings including intensive outpatient, a community mental health agency, and hospital outpatient services. Bridget loves the therapeutic process and focuses on working with her clients to find solutions and improve their coping skills.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I typically work to start finding solutions in the first session. I am compassionate, straightforward and supportive. I provide authentic, and nonjudgemental care to all clients. I am down to Earth and see therapy as a partnership.
