Psychotherapist

Hi! I'm so glad you are here! One of the best things about being a therapist is the opportunity to empower you, to make you feel strong and heard, and to give you the tools to excel. It's truly rewarding to be part of your journey toward growth, healing, and self-discovery. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, build resilience, and gain confidence in navigating life’s challenges. Together, we can work toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. I earned my Master’s in Counseling and my MSEd in Counseling Education from the University of South Carolina, which have equipped me with a strong foundation to support clients effectively. My approach I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and reshape thought patterns. My goal with CBT is to help you recognize how thoughts, emotions, and actions are interconnected and influence mental well-being. By addressing unhelpful thinking, I empower you to develop healthier coping strategies, improve problem-solving skills, and make positive changes in your emotional and behavioral responses. I work with individuals of all ages, from children to adults, with specialized experience in mood disorders and adolescent behavioral issues like conduct disorders. For children, I use play therapy techniques to help them express themselves naturally—through play! My focus Navigating mental health challenges can feel daunting. Whether you're seeking coping strategies, ways to manage stress, or simply someone to listen when life feels overwhelming, know that you're not alone. I understand what you're going through, I hear you, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can work through it. My communication style I want you to feel welcomed and encouraged to share your feelings openly. My goal is to provide a space where you feel comfortable and safe, knowing I’m here to listen without judgment.
