What should a new client know about working with you?

I approach therapy with compassion and collaboration, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. Together, we explore your experiences, challenges, and strengths while building practical tools and coping strategies. I create a safe, affirming space where Black women, mothers, and the perinatal/postpartum population can process emotions, gain clarity, and cultivate resilience. My style is supportive, mindful, and focused on helping you feel empowered to navigate life transitions and personal growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe healing starts with feeling seen and heard. Our sessions will be a mix of open conversation, reflection, and practical skill-building. Throughout sessions, I will ensure to take the time to truly understand your story; what you’ve been carrying, what you’ve overcome, and what you need to heal and be the best version of yourself. Together, we’ll focus on realistic tools and mindful practices that support your growth, balance, and emotional wellness. My approach is client-centered, compassionate, and grounded in creating a safe, affirming space—especially for Black women, Moms, Couples, and Teens navigating life transitions, motherhood, and self-discovery.
