Brittany Bartusek, LCSW

Psychotherapist
FL
With over a decade of broad clinical experience, I provide compassionate, client-centered therapy to individuals navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, and complex medical concerns. I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Social Work from University of Central Florida and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida, as well as a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Clinical Social Work Interns in Florida. My professional background includes work in hospital settings, home health, schools, outpatient therapy, and community-based care, allowing me to support clients and families across all stages of life with a well-rounded and practical approach. With this broad array of experience I have found myself working with young children as little as 4 and the oldest being 92. I specialize in working with older adults and geriatric populations, while also supporting individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, caregiver stress, postpartum adjustment, life transitions, chronic illness, new medical diagnoses, and long-term planning concerns. I have extensive experience working collaboratively with families to strengthen communication, improve coping, navigate care-giving responsibilities, and provide emotional support during difficult seasons of life. I also provide therapy for postpartum depression or postpartum anxiety as well as couples counseling. My therapeutic approach combines evidence-based interventions with empathy, collaboration, and respect for each client’s unique experiences, values, and goals, creating a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I utilize CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
