Hi there, I'm Brittany! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with extensive experience supporting clients in their journey toward emotional well-being. My passion lies in providing compassionate, evidence-based care to help individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, trauma, and relationship concerns. Through a client-centered and strengths-based approach, I aim to empower clients to achieve personal growth and lasting change. My approach My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance, as I believe that a trusting relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. The most common theoretical approaches I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for helping clients identify and reframe negative thought patterns, Trauma-Focused Therapy to address unresolved trauma, and Mindfulness-Based approaches to build present-moment awareness and reduce stress. I also incorporate techniques from Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients recognize their strengths and develop actionable steps toward achieving their goals. Depending on the client’s needs, I adapt my approach to integrate other modalities, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide personalized and effective care. My focus I work with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families, who are seeking support for emotional and mental health challenges. My strength is working with adolescents and young adults, helping them navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and identity development. I am particularly comfortable addressing issues such as managing emotions.
