Brittany Cheyenne Feldhaus, LCSW

Psychotherapist
TX
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, depression, life stress, and neurodivergence. I focus on creating a space where people can be real and talk about what’s actually going on. I don’t judge and I don’t force a one-size-fits-all plan. I use approaches like CBT, ACT, IFS, and mindfulness to help clients build insight and develop practical tools they can actually use in everyday life. Therapy with me often involves learning how to name what you're feeling, understand where it comes from, and decide what to do with it. I offer evening and weekend sessions via telehealth. I’ve worked with military veterans, parents, students, professionals, and many folks who’ve felt overwhelmed, stuck, or misunderstood. If that sounds like you, I’d be glad to help.

Getting to know Brittany Cheyenne Feldhaus

What should a new client know about working with you?

I approach therapy with honesty, care, and a focus on what’s actually helpful. I’m not going to sit and nod or offer surface-level advice. I want to understand what’s really going on and help you make sense of it. That includes looking at what’s working, what isn’t, and what changes you want to make. You won’t be judged for how you cope, how you feel, or how long it’s taken to ask for help. I work with teens and adults who often feel overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or stuck. Some are dealing with trauma. Some are neurodivergent. Some are just worn down by life. Many of my clients have spent a long time trying to hold it all together. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. I use evidence-based methods like CBT, ACT, IFS, and mindfulness, but I don’t expect you to know or care about therapy terms. I’ll explain things clearly and focus on what makes sense for you. Some sessions will focus on learning practical tools. Others may go deeper into patterns, emotions, or past experiences. Therapy can feel different week to week, and that’s okay. My job isn’t to tell you what to do. It’s to walk with you while you figure it out. I’ll be honest and supportive. I’ll challenge you when needed, and I’ll always listen. I offer telehealth sessions in the evenings and on weekends to make therapy easier to access. You don’t need to be at a breaking point to start. You just need a place where you can be real, and that’s what I try to provide.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In the first session, I’ll ask questions to get a clear picture of what’s bringing you in, what your life looks like right now, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. We’ll talk about your history, your symptoms, and your goals. You don’t need to prepare anything or have it all figured out. I’ll guide the process and make sure you’re not overwhelmed. After that, sessions are flexible. Some weeks we may focus on coping strategies or problem-solving. Other times we may dig into past experiences, emotional patterns, or relationship issues. I’ll check in regularly to make sure we’re working on what matters to you and that it feels helpful. I use approaches like CBT, ACT, IFS, and mindfulness, but I adjust based on your needs, personality, and how you process things. I’ll explain tools and concepts in plain language and help you apply them to real situations. Therapy with me is collaborative. I may ask direct questions or offer challenges, but always with respect for your pace and boundaries. I work with teens and adults, including many people who have experienced trauma, live with ADHD or anxiety, or just feel overwhelmed and burned out. Some people come in with clear goals. Others aren’t sure where to start. Both are fine. I offer telehealth sessions in the evenings and on weekends. I aim to make therapy practical, accessible, and worth your time. Sessions aren’t about perfection or saying the right thing. They’re about showing up and doing the work together.
