Brittany Dalbow, LMHC

Brittany Dalbow, LMHC

Psychotherapist
NY
Reflecting on my own experiences as a queer, nonbinary person, I recognized the importance of creating a space that is built by and for folks within our community. In my work as both a therapist and a birth worker, I deeply believe we are all seeking love, care, connection, and community. From this space, I emphasize the importance of meaningful relationships and the power of relational healing within our collectives. My commitment to our relationship is to cultivate a collaborative, empowering space for you to work towards a life that is authentic, allows you to thrive in your relationships and with yourself, to experience healing, and uncover a deeper sense of purpose and connection. My approach is trauma informed, holistic, person-centered, and includes interventions that are rooted in somatic healing such as somatic-IFS & trauma-informed yoga. Though engaging in this work may be daunting, I am here to walk this path with you, as we also make room for playfulness, joy, and pleasure. In this work, I'm committed to creating an anti-oppressive, non-judgmental space, so that you may show up just as you are. Clients often seek me out for support with complex trauma, birth & family planning, relational & interpersonal challenges, and identity exploration related to gender & sexuality.
