Here is a little bit about me and how I plan on supporting you: My name is Brittany, and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. I have been working as a mental health counselor since 2015. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, NY, and a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education from Florida International University in Miami, FL. I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, online, and in schools. I have worked with people of all ages and have seen clients individually, in groups, and as couples. I have experience supporting people who have suffered great hardships and significant trauma. I have helped individuals struggling with PTSD and those constantly plagued by depression. I also have extensive professional and personal experience supporting people worn down by stress and relentless anxiety. It brings me great joy to see people find the courage within and build up their strength to manifest a life that brings them joy. I believe the most important aspect of counseling is the connection and comfort we feel with our therapist. We all want to feel accepted and understood. I believe it's very important to be open-minded and non-judgmental when someone shares their experiences with me. I love to travel, and my cultural competency has developed through international experiences, encountering different cultures and customs. I am bi-cultural and bilingual.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
