Getting to know Brittany Gordon

Hello, I am bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years experience in working with children and families. Working with children, teens and young adults is my passion. I also specialize in working with foster youth and low-income families. My hope is to provide healing through having a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship with my clients and ensuring that they feel seen, heard, and empowered to make the wanted changes in their lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is very relax and solution-oriented. The goal it to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible and I find that humor is the best way to build rapport. I have experience in working with clients who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and cultural/ethnic issues.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session will involve finding out what my client would like to achieve in therapy. My hope is that my client will walk away from our first session feeling supported and hopeful in their journey towards improving their mental health. I hope to hear from you soon.
