Brittany Greer, LCMHC

Psychotherapist
NC
I help adults between the ages of 25 and 60 who struggle with constant worry, fear, and anxious, looping thoughts that prevent them from doing the things they love. In our work together, they learn mindfulness techniques to slow intrusive thoughts, cognitive behavioral skills to manage stressors, and healthy tools to handle the curveballs life often throws. Confident in their new strengths, they navigate the tides of change with inner peace and the ability to be truly present. I also support adults 25-60 who have experienced a singular or ongoing traumatic event and are now struggling with its impact on their present day. Together, we work to reprocess the negative experience in a meaningful way, fading their emotional and physical trauma response. With a new sense of peace and control, they are able to live a more connected and joyful present. I hold a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Career Counseling from East Carolina University and a Bachelor’s degree from Winthrop University, which inform my compassionate and evidence-based approach to care.
