“Brittany is my former case manager & she helped me get back on the right path in life. At first, I was a hot head and high school drop out. After working with Brittany she helped me with online GED classes, which I passed. After I got my GED, she helped me enroll in training program which helped me get a full time job as a Front End Medical Assistant. ”

Getting to know Brittany Jones

I’m a therapist who believes healing starts when you realize it’s okay to ask for help. You don’t have to have everything figured out, or even know where to start, to come to therapy. I show up with empathy, honesty, and zero judgment, and I meet teens and young adults exactly where they are.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I know life can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re juggling emotions, expectations, relationships, and figuring out who you are at the same time. My approach is supportive, real, and collaborative. We focus on understanding what’s going on beneath the surface, building coping skills that actually fit your life, and helping you feel more confident showing up as yourself.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Working with Adults: You may look like you have it together on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of where your life is actually headed. Maybe you’re navigating career confusion, questioning your purpose, or feeling stuck in a path that no longer fits. You might be carrying unresolved trauma that still impacts your relationships, confidence, or ability to trust yourself. Setting boundaries may feel uncomfortable or guilt-inducing, and people-pleasing or overthinking may leave you emotionally drained. Between work, relationships, family expectations, and your own internal pressure to “have it all figured out,” life can feel heavy and unclear. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. We’ll slow things down, make sense of your thoughts and emotions, unpack what’s weighing on you, strengthen healthy boundaries, process past experiences, and work on tools that help you manage stress, build confidence, and feel more grounded in who you are, so life feels less overwhelming and more manageable. Working with Teens: Being a teen today comes with constant pressure, academically, socially, and emotionally. You might be dealing with anxiety, irritability, sadness, family conflict, or feeling like no one really understands you. Maybe emotions feel intense or unpredictable, or you’ve found yourself shutting down, pulling away, or reacting in ways you don’t fully understand yet. I create a safe, supportive space where teens can show up without fear of being judged or “in trouble.” Together, we’ll focus on understanding emotions, learning healthy coping skills, and building confidence in expressing yourself, so you can feel more in control, supported, and capable of handling what life throws your way.
