Brittany Russotto, LCSW

Psychotherapist
WI
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with individuals in various settings including individually, those in residential care and those in an inpatient hospital setting. Being a woman and a mother allows me to bring lived understanding, empathy, and attunement to the unique challenges women and mothers face. My personal experience helps me relate to the emotional demands, identity shifts, and pressures that can contribute to anxiety, depression, and unhealthy ways to cope including, disordered eating and substance use. This perspective supports my ability to create a safe, validating space where clients feel understood while working collaboratively toward healing, self‑compassion, and sustainable change. In our first session together, here's what you can expect In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive conversation focused on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. I take a down‑to‑earth, collaborative approach and appreciate humor as a way to help ease nerves and create connection. We’ll talk about your goals, what’s been feeling challenging, and what you want from therapy—at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and understood from the very beginning. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions As a therapist, I am down‑to‑earth, supportive, and approachable, helping clients feel at ease quickly—even when discussing difficult topics. My ability to use humor thoughtfully allows me to build connection, reduce shame, and make therapy feel human rather than intimidating. As a woman and mother, I offer an added layer of understanding for women navigating anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and substance use—particularly within the context of identity, caregiving, and societal pressure.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
