Getting to know Brittany Stark
Hello and Welcome! I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University. I have a wide variety of experience working with individuals, families, and facilitating group therapy. I have worked in diverse settings including in-home, day treatment, outpatient, and court-ordered environments. As a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) clinician, I strive to help individuals find the peace they so deserve in their lives. I have experience supporting those who struggle with severe and persistent trauma responses, anxiety and depression-related disorders, and interpersonal conflicts.
I believe that how we tell our story greatly impacts how we view not only ourselves but also our environment. If we believe the world is unsafe, we will only notice what feels unsafe. Let me bear witness to your resiliency and courage as we explore a new way to tell your story. While we cannot change the past, we have the power to change the future. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my 100-pound dog named Rocky, hiking, being with friends and family, and engaging in DIY projects.
