“I’ve had a great experience with her! I was worried starting therapy that it would either feel like I was being coddled or that it would be very clinical, but neither was the case with her. She took what I said seriously, listening nonjudgmentally, while also allowing for a warm and inviting environment. The sessions have felt very balanced, allowing me to progress at a comfortable pace that still pushed my growth! I’ve felt heard by her, and she is very proactive in finding resources for me to use outside of sessions. It’s felt very personalized and safe. She really cares and it shows!”

“I have been seeing Brittany for two and a half years now, and within that time, she has provided me with support through emotionally complex situations, helped me dig into the roots of my fears and triggers from the past, given me guidance to consult the right doctors to start a low dose SSRI, and regularly practiced Brain Spotting techniques to process trauma. Brittany is a strong listener who is open-minded and unafraid to untangled nuanced situations. She is very open to people of all walks of life and has been a huge support to me as I have come out and looked ahead to growing my family with my partner. My healing journey would not like the same without Brittany, and I cannot recommend her enough! ”

Getting to know Brittany Tyler

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for helping others recognize their own value and discover inner peace. During my career, I have worked in psychiatric and medical hospitals, a sexual assault center, and in an individual therapy setting. Individual therapy has been the path where I have found the most joy as I love providing support and encouragement for my clients and witnessing their personal growth and victories.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I enjoy being interactive and engaged with my clients, but I do tailor my approach based on the needs and personalities of each individual. My approach is client-centered and may include the use of various evidence-based therapies, including CBT, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and others. I have also found Brainspotting to be a highly effective technique in promoting well-being and healing and love to incorporate this into the mix. Whatever approach is used, a central tenet of the work we will do will focus on self-compassion and positive self-regard as I have found these things integral to good mental health.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session could look different client to client. It is very much based in what a client needs in that moment. A session could look like us discussing current concerns for our time together or talking a little and then doing Brainspotting to work on past trauma the rest of the session.

Brittany is attentive and thorough. She will make you feel comfortable and heard while also giving you the push you need. I’d highly recommend Brittany as a provider!
I cannot recommend Brittany highly enough. From the very first session, she has been incredibly empathetic, compassionate, and truly invested in my well-being. She is personable and easy to talk to, which made opening up about difficult topics feel safe and natural. Since starting therapy with her, my life has improved in ways I never imagined possible. She has given me practical tools and strategies that have helped me better manage my anxiety, depression, and PTSD. What I appreciate most is her holistic, mind-body approach to therapy—it has been transformative and has allowed me to make lasting changes, not just surface-level improvements. Working with Brittany has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself. I am deeply grateful for her guidance, support, and the safe space she provides to heal and grow.
Brittany is amazing! She has helped me in more ways I can put into text. From coping skills to navigate daily life, release from past trauma, pinpointing a feeling I have trouble describing…the list goes on. I don’t know where I’d be in this life without her.
Brittany Tyler is an outstanding therapist. She creates a safe and supportive environment while also challenging me in ways that help me grow. She has guided me through some of the hardest times in my life with compassion, honesty, and unmatched support. I always leave sessions feeling heard, empowered, and equipped with strategies that truly make a difference. Her balance of empathy and accountability is exactly what I needed. She has given me the confidence to set healthier boundaries, use my voice, and make changes that are improving my life every day. As someone who also works in this field, I can say with confidence that her skill and dedication stand out. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist who genuinely cares and helps you create lasting change.
Brittany has been my therapist for over two years now, and it’s hard to put into words just how much this journey has meant to me. From the start she created a space where I could be broken, confused, and unsure, and never once did I feel judged. I was met with compassion, deep understanding, and unwavering support. She helped me uncover layers of myself I didn’t even know existed. I’ve gained insights into my patterns, fears, strengths and potential. I’m not the same person I was when we started. I’m stronger, more self-aware, and continuously growing into the best version of myself! All thanks to the consistent, patient and deeply intuitive guidance I’ve received. She hasn’t just changed my life, sessions with her helped me see a life that finally feels like it’s truly mine. I’m endlessly grateful, and I can’t recommend her enough to anyone ready to do the real, beautiful work of self-discovery and growth that every human deserves and that I experience after every session with her.
