“I had a wonderful experience with this provider. She was kind, compassionate, and took the time to really listen to my concerns without making me feel rushed. She explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. It's not always easy to find a doctor who is both knowledgeable and genuinely caring, and she was exactly that. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a provider who treats patients with respect and compassion. I love that I can relate to her.”

What should a new client know about working with you?

One of the most important things to know is that I meet you where you are. There is no expectation that you have everything together before starting therapy. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, even when it's difficult. I value transparency and collaboration. If something isn't working, I want us to talk about it. Therapy isn't about following a script; it's about finding an approach that works best for you. If at any point I believe another provider or level of care would better meet your needs, I'll be honest about that because your progress is always my priority. Clients often appreciate that I bring authenticity, empathy, and even appropriate humor into sessions. While therapy can involve difficult conversations, I believe growth doesn't have to happen in a space that feels cold or intimidating. I currently offer virtual evening appointments during the week, Sunday availability, and occasional Saturday appointments for added flexibility.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions are focused on getting to know one another, building a strong therapeutic relationship, and developing a treatment plan. I want to understand who you are beyond the challenges that brought you to therapy, your strengths, your experiences, your goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together. From there, we'll identify patterns, explore what's contributing to your current concerns, and develop practical strategies that fit your life. I use evidence-based approaches but tailor treatment to each individual because I don't believe one method works for everyone. Throughout the process, we'll regularly check in on your progress, adjust our approach when needed, and celebrate growth along the way. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you feel supported, challenged, and empowered to create meaningful change.
