Brittany Walker, LPC

Psychotherapist
OR
Hi! I am so glad you are here. It takes courage to reach out for help, and you have taken a very important first step. My approach to therapy is relational at its core: it is most important to me that you feel comfortable and safe talking with me, and not like you're talking to a robot. Research continually shows that the therapeutic alliance is the most healing element of therapy, and I hope to achieve a strong alliance by welcoming your feedback and working collaboratively toward your goals. A little about me: I am a native Oregonian and love to hike and be in nature, identifying birds and exploring trails. I attended University of Puget Sound in Tacoma for my undergraduate degree, and Lewis and Clark College for my Masters in Art Therapy and Counseling. I have been a licensed professional counselor since 2023. I like to incorporate creative self-expression into therapy, along with modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and attachment theory. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults, as these are often periods of major transitions, identity formation, and self-discovery. Welcome, and I look forward to meeting you!
