Hello, my name is Brittnee and I am excited to help you grow rich with your career. I have been a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the past seven years. I graduated from Emporia State University in 2016 with a MS in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling. I have a undergraduate degree in BFA Art Therapy from Avila University, Kansas City, MO. Currently, I am registered with the State of Washington as a LMCHA. I have worked with various individuals from young adults to retirees. My training and knowledge is specialized in veterans issues and workplace readjustment counseling with minorities. I also have extensive experience working with teenagers with disabilities in career planning. My prior employers include nonprofit organizations and various state and federal government agencies. I have been awarded the Department of Veterans Affairs VBA Employee Recognition Award, Beyond and Above Award in 2021. I have worked in women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ veteran issues for over ten years. My deep connection with the military community started as being a child of a Army SOAR veteran. Once I turned 19, I enlisted into the military. I have served for over fourteen years as a member of the Army Reserves on various active duty tours. I am a Midwest Gal that has lived in the Pacific North West (PNW) for over six years. When I am not in the office, I enjoy hiking and paddle boarding with my Australian Shepard, Autumn. I enjoy creating art and specialize in oil painting. I am married to Steven, a OEF combat veteran and teacher. We enjoy camping and exploring the PNW, rain or shine!
