Brittney Baca, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Brittney! I began my journey working for a domestic violence program, transitioned to homeless services, then to community mental health, and finally to corrections. Working in those environments allowed me to gain firsthand experience with the difficulties and resilience of my clients. My focus I have experience working with adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma and struggle with symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and substance use disorder. My approach I allow clients space to reflect and process at their own speed. I meet clients where they are at and begin treatment there. My communication style I am an open and understanding communicator who loves to use humor in sessions. My journey to mental healthcare My work across domestic violence programs, homeless services, community mental health, and corrections has shaped my understanding of resilience and the many paths people take toward healing. My goals for you I help clients identify their goals, develop coping strategies, and decrease functional impairments caused by symptoms. We work collaboratively to build skills that support lasting change. Our first session In our first session, we'll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. I'll learn about your experiences and we'll begin building a plan that feels right for you.
