Individual counseling sessions are provided to adults who are ready to overcome mental health issues that interfere with daily living and building healthy relationships. We all have mental health, but not everyone doesn't have a mental illness. It is important for everyone to be healthy mentally & emotionally. rather you are going through a life transition or just need to implement some coping skills to handle the daily struggles of life. My approach Therapy is about the client. I approach therapy based on the goals the client has and then work on addressing barriers to those goals. I will work with my clients to obtain solutions to their problems. My focus My ideal client is a person who is open to feedback, has clear goals for therapy, and is ready to make the changes needed for an improved outlook on life. My communication style I prefer to speak with an assertive tone, directly and clearly, with appropriate eye contact. I am attentive to my client's verbal and non-verbal communication cues. My journey to mental healthcare I have been a counselor for over 13 years. I love working with clients who are ready to be healthier individuals for themselves and to improve the relationships around them. I have seen people at their worst (in an inpatient setting), to clients operating in maintenance mode at an outpatient level. It is a process, and I am ready to help anyone ready to commit to that process. My goals for you Once goals are established, I'll work with the client as an accountability partner, following up with issues discussed in previous sessions.
