Getting to know Brittney McCoy

Hello! My name is Brittney McCoy, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have years of experience working with families, adolescents, and young adults. Helping people improve and make changes in their lives is something I love to see, and it is one of the reasons I really enjoy working as a therapist. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and the stages of change model. I also have a background in Christian counseling and working cross-culturally, supported by my Master’s in Biblical Counseling and Cross Cultural Ministries from Dallas Theological Seminary, as well as my Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University. Do you struggle with anxiety? Depression? Social and/or familial relationships? Any kind of adjustment disorder? Bipolar disorder? Or just want to improve your overall mental health? Then I am the therapist for you! The first step to even requesting counseling can be difficult, but you have arrived at Winds of Restoration Counseling, and I am ready to help you explore and make changes to improve your life now and in the future!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
