UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I focus on collaborating with adolescents and adults working to cope with the anxiety and stress that come with neurodivergence, family and life transitions, trauma, and shame. I center acceptance of the whole self in my practice through evidence-based approaches like ACT and DBT. Understanding what makes you tick and finding motivation within yourself can put you on the path to living on your own terms, instead of feeling like you're playing catch-up. Whether we're diving deep into the circumstances that made you who you are today or preparing for the path ahead, you'll be empowered to build on your existing strengths and shed habits that no longer serve you. I hold a Master of Social Service and a Bachelor's degree from Angelo State University, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively on your journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I focus on collaborating with adolescents and adults working to cope with the anxiety and stress that come with neurodivergence, family/life transitions, trauma, and shame. My training is grounded in using evidence-based practices that center on balancing the many internal factors that impact our mental health- including ACT, DBT, and CBT, as well as the use of strengths-based interventions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take an organic, individual approach to treatment, whether we're diving deep into the circumstances that made you who you are today, or preparing for the path ahead. You are the expert in your experiences, and by exploring current coping patterns, core beliefs, and values, we'll build a roadmap to goals that are important to you. I prioritize the acceptance and validation of struggles and fears, while encouraging the growth of healthier mindsets that better equip you to take the next step.
