Psychotherapist
2323 Naperville Rd, Ste 214, Naperville, IL
I am a licensed therapist with over seven years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan—from young children to older adults navigating end-of-life care. My clinical background spans a wide range of settings, including state psychiatric hospitals, inpatient and residential programs, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and hospice care. I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+, non-binary, and BIPOC communities, as well as individuals navigating trauma and physical health challenges. At the heart of my work is a deep passion for witnessing growth. There’s something incredibly meaningful about sitting alongside someone as they begin to recognize and name their own change—that moment of clarity and empowerment is what continually draws me to this work.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I specialize in working with mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, as well as trauma, grief, eating disorders, and substance use. I feel especially connected to working with late adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and the process of becoming more fully themselves. My approach is rooted in Art Therapy and the creative process, which I use to help clients connect with their inner strength and resilience. I integrate person-centered and strength-based perspectives while incorporating skills from DBT and ACT. I also have training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Whether through art-making, journaling, or conversation, I aim to create a space where clients can explore, process, and grow in ways that feel authentic to them.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

First, you will start with a free 15 minute phone consultation with our care coordinators and then will be put on my schedule for the initial assessment. From there, we will identify a treatment plan and best cadence for sessions. I believe therapy starts with building safety and trust. From there, the creative process can open doors to self-compassion, insight, and meaningful change. In our work together, you can expect a mix of exploration of past experiences, skill-building, goal setting, and practical tools to support you outside of session.
