Getting to know Bruce Steinberg
Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile. Reaching out for support is often the hardest step, and by being here you’ve already begun a meaningful journey toward lasting change. For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients as they grow and transform their lives, and it is deeply rewarding to witness their growth, resilience, and courage. I know that choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming, which is why I work to make this process as welcoming, supportive, and comfortable as possible. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and encouraged as we begin this journey together.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My journey as a therapist began in the substance abuse field, where I guided clients dealing with significant challenges, including addiction, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. This experience has shaped my approach to therapy, becoming a catalyst for transformation. I customize my therapeutic strategies to meet your unique needs, promoting meaningful change.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I see therapy as a space where real connection creates real change. Clients describe me as open, caring, and deeply invested in their growth. I bring experience to guide the process, but together we shape the path forward. Please reach out for a complimentary 15-minute consultation to determine if working together is a good fit for you.

Ongoing session: $125 for 60 minutes
- Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
- Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
- Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront
