What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm a licensed clinical mental health counselor based in Salt Lake City, specializing in trauma, faith transitions, and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy. I use EMDR, CBT, and a deeply human approach to help clients heal from religious trauma, depression, and identity-related stress. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and understood—especially if you’ve struggled to find that elsewhere.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

n our first session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping for. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and affirming. I often use EMDR and CBT, but therapy with me is always tailored to your story. Whether you're navigating religious trauma, identity questions, or deep emotional pain, we’ll move at your pace—and figure things out together.
