Getting to know Caitlin Clouse

Hi, I’m Caitlin Clouse, and I have been working in the field of social work for over 10 years. I began my career as an in-home service provider supporting children and their families, walking alongside them through difficult seasons, complex conversations, and everyday challenges in both academic and community settings. Over time, my work naturally evolved into the clinical setting, where I continued supporting children and families while also expanding my practice to include all individuals. Whether working with moms, dads, young adults, college students and adolescents navigating life transitions, grief, and trauma. I am deeply committed to creating a compassionate, individualized therapeutic experience rooted in connection and emotional safety. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, psychoeducation, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy and Family Therapy to help clients better understand themselves and strengthen their ability to regulate their nervous systems. My goal is to support each person in building practical skills, resilience, and confidence so they can navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, balance, and self-trust.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have a deep respect for anyone who chooses to take a step toward caring for their emotional and mental health. Reaching out isn’t always easy, and it takes courage. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and talking about whatever is on your mind. In our work together, I’m here to celebrate your wins, big or small, and to support you through the harder moments and losses that life can bring. Therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as your true, unfiltered self—where you can release what’s been weighing on you, feel understood, and begin to find more balance and clarity. You don’t have to carry things alone, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical approach when working with clients is to first build a meaningful relationship where you feel comfortable, supported, and at ease. I want therapy to be a space you genuinely look forward to coming to. Through your commitment to the process and your willingness to explore life’s challenges, we’ll work together to develop regulation techniques, explore new perspectives, and strengthen communication skills. My goal is to help you gain tools and insights that can enhance your overall quality of life.
