“I started therapy when I was going through struggles in my marriage. Caitlyn's compassion and warmth put me at ease from the first session. She's a great listener and made me feel genuinely heard without judgment. Caitlyn helped me to look inward to understand the deeper issues that were driving our conflicts, and she offered fresh perspectives that I hadn't considered before. She's direct when she needs to be, but always with kindness. Thanks to her support, I've come a long way to understand myself and my spouse better.”

What should a new client know about working with you?

I focus on understanding each client as an individual to help identify and achieve their treatment goals. I use mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy (MBCT), which involves helping clients become more aware of their thoughts and feelings in the present moment and learning how to manage them in a healthier way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session starts with us exploring what brought you to therapy and understanding your immediate needs. We’ll focus on your goals and any patterns in your thinking or behavior that may be holding you back. In MBCT, we work together to increase your awareness of these patterns, so you can make more mindful choices rather than reacting automatically. Sessions are collaborative and may include discussing your experiences, learning new skills, or practicing mindfulness exercises. I also bring a sense of humor and life experience into sessions to make the process feel more comfortable and relatable. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported while we work together to create meaningful, lasting changes.
