What should a new client know about working with you?

I take an integrative, humanistic approach to therapy, grounded in a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strength-based lens. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and incorporates evidence-based practices including person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental, dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, seen, and respected.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I usually use our first session to explore what brought you to therapy and to walk you through what the therapy process will look like. We'll identify where you might feel stuck and explore the direction you would like to move toward. My approach is humanistic, and my style is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I tailor each session to your unique needs using evidence-based practices.
