Welcome to my page! A big part of my passion includes working with people who are navigating significant life challenges and are motivated to seek change. They may be dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship problems, or substance abuse, just to list a few. They might feel stuck in their current situation and frustrated that nothing they have tried so far seems to help. Some are seeking purpose and meaning in their life, while others might be looking to heal from the deep wounds of past trauma. Whatever the reason, I seek to offer a safe place to explore deep topics and work through struggles, aiming for personal growth, healing, and self-discovery. I strive to help my clients overcome psychological barriers and find a sense of peace and fulfillment as they build resilience and self-awareness. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Education from Mississippi State University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively on their journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

With 12 years of professional therapy experience, I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but often use an integrative approach that blends elements from multiple therapy modalities. I offer a supportive yet challenging approach and believe in encouraging my patients to push outside of comfort zones when appropriate. I create a safe environment for clients to explore their thoughts without judgment. I also offer christian focused counseling upon request.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first session we will complete and review your intake documentation. This information is essential to better understanding the nature of your environment and the uniqueness of struggles you may be facing. Our first few counseling sessions will focus on establishing a comfortable environment, where my patients feel open and free to speak about matters of the heart. From this point forward we begin to unpack the main concerns of the client and explore possible methods for healing and progress.
