What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach to counseling is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I believe meaningful change occurs when people feel heard, supported, and empowered to take intentional steps toward their goals. I work with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma-related concerns, caregiver strain, and personal growth issues. The counseling process begins with understanding your concerns, strengths, and goals. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to current difficulties and develop a personalized plan focused on measurable progress and practical solutions. My therapeutic style integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Strengths-Based Counseling. Depending on your needs, we may focus on emotional regulation, communication skills, boundary setting, stress management, problem-solving, and developing healthier thinking and behavioral patterns. For couples, I help partners improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, navigate conflict, rebuild trust, and develop skills that support healthier relationships. With training in Christian Counseling, Rehabilitation Psychology, and Industrial-Organizational Psychology, I understand how faith, purpose, work, health, and life circumstances influence well-being. For clients who desire it, faith and spirituality can be integrated into treatment in a respectful and clinically appropriate manner. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can gain insight, build resilience, develop practical coping skills, and create lasting positive change in their lives and relationships.
