I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with six years of experience working with individuals with severe mental illness and life stressors (three years of this being clinical). I am kind and compassionate but expect my clients to do the hard work of emotional processing in order to grow and change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy to me is a gentle and safe approach to facing things that we have been avoiding which keep us feeling stuck. Therapy requires courage, and I believe clients can be far more courageous than they believe. I offer an interactive therapy style that encourages deep processing in and out of the therapy room.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sessions will be friendly and personable and I will ask probing questions to get to know you and specify the problem and find out collaboratively how I can assist you moving forward.
