Psychotherapist
2172 Blackberry Dr, Ste 110, Geneva, IL
Life can get hard, and sometimes we all need a little support to find our footing again. I'm a licensed social worker with a Master's degree in Social Work and a genuine passion for helping people feel better, function better, and live more fully. My work spans a wide range — from kids (ages 3 & up) and teens navigating school stress, friendships, and self-esteem, to adults working through anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, and major life changes. No matter what brings someone to therapy, I show up the same way every time: with honesty, compassion, and zero judgment. Working with kids and teens means a lot to me. I've spent years in school and academic settings, so I understand firsthand the unique pressures young people face — academically, socially, and emotionally. If your child is struggling to manage big feelings, navigate friendships, or keep up with the demands being placed on them, we'll work together to build the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

What should a new client know about working with you?

For adults, life transitions, relationship stress, anxiety, grief, and emotional exhaustion are some of the most common reasons people reach out — and some of the hardest things to carry alone. Therapy is a space where you don't have to. Together, we'll work to understand what's driving what you're feeling and build healthier, more sustainable patterns going forward. For athletes and high performers, I get it! The pressure is real, and it doesn't always stop when you leave the field, the court, or the office. Whether you're dealing with performance anxiety, a confidence slump, burnout, injury recovery, or just trying to keep all the plates spinning, I can help you build the mental resilience to perform and feel your best.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is collaborative and tailored to you — I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, strengths-based, and person-centered approaches because no two people are the same, and your care shouldn't be either. If you're ready to take that first step, I'd love to connect.
